The Enablement Retainer is the opposite of that. It is a structured monthly rhythm in which something is actually built, captured, and embedded. The shape stays the same from month to month. The substance changes with what your business actually needs next.
The monthly rhythm
A short monthly planning session with the operational owners sets the focus. Where is the biggest lever this month, where does the work need to land. Out of that comes a focused working session in which something gets built, not presented. A process optimised. A custom GPT designed and deployed. A pattern standardised across a function. Office hours stay open for anyone in the organisation who needs them, with a direct booking link for short personal questions. Each month closes with a documented result your team owns, and a short impulse on what has actually changed in the field that you should care about.
Flexible building blocks
We assemble the engagement from a set of building blocks. We start with the ones that fit your stage, and add or swap as the work matures.
Focus themes and working sessions. One topic per month, worked on in depth. Standardising customer communication across project leads. Accelerating the quoting process. Scaling project documentation. Building a knowledge base for onboarding. AI-assisted quality reviews. The shape repeats. The themes are yours.
A custom GPT and prompt library. A central, living knowledge base of the GPTs, prompts, and best-practice documents the work is producing, structured so the whole team can use it and the next hire is productive faster.
Internal AI champions. We develop a small group of people you nominate, intensifying their work in the focus sessions and growing their ability to support colleagues. The condition is not negotiable: they need explicit time from you for this beyond their normal duties. Without that, the role is a title with no content.
Mapping and rapid prototyping. Where useful, we run structured role and task mapping with key functions to surface the highest-value AI opportunities, then rapid prototyping sprints in which an idea moves to a working AI workflow inside hours, not weeks.
An innovation track. When the time is right, we open a deliberate space for radical thinking beyond efficiency: new offers, new services, new ways the business could work because AI makes them possible. The format (an innovation workshop, a hackathon, or another) is chosen with you.
What you walk away with
- A monthly cadence that survives without us.
- A growing internal library of GPTs, prompts, and best practices, owned by your team.
- A small group of internal champions actively carrying capability into the wider organisation.
- Concrete outputs each month, the kind a colleague can use the following week.
- AI as part of how you work, not a parallel programme you have to remember to run.
Who this is for
Organisations past their first AI push, whether that was an Executive Workshop, an AI Practice Sprint, a Process Redesign engagement, or a function-level pilot. Leadership teams that recognise the months after a launch are where most initiatives quietly die, and that want a structural answer rather than relying on heroics. Internal AI teams or champions who want a partner alongside them as they grow into the role.
How it fits
The retainer is built to follow something. It is the rhythm that turns a first push into compounding work. For organisations that have not done a first push yet, we will tell you so. We do not start here.
